چکیده
The pH in the milieu of chronic wounds, directly or indirectly influenced many factors in wound healing. As part of our investigations we have carried out 247 pH measurements in 39 patients with chronic wounds of various origins. There were pH values may be obtained from 5,45-8,65. For continuous observation of individual patients showed individual differences in pH measurements of up to 1.73 within a period of 12 months. For sufficient therapy of chronic wounds have knowledge of the pH of great importance. For example, there are several enzymatic Wundpräparate whose pH optimum is not in the measured pH of our areas. Our results also illustrate, however, that after an individual determination of pH in the milieu of a chronic wound of this measurement as a dynamic factor can be considered and should be controlled according to regularly. Our studies will provide a contribution to the understanding of the specific conditions in the wound environment of chronic wounds and allow a further factor for the individual use of differentiated wound healing strategies.

Therefore, the development and implementation of methodologies to allow the real-time insitu analysis of biomarkers, such as pH and ROS, may offer huge advantages in terms of our understanding of how the biomarkers change throughout normal and pathological healing processes, and provide a better insigh...
